Our llamas are all a part of the family!!

Our ranch is a very pleasant place,
located on the doorstep of Rocky Mountain National Park. The
llamas add interest and excitement to our being.
We enjoy cool summers for breeding
our female llamas and for birthing our crias (baby llamas). We
have some wonderful animals for guard animals, pets, and packing,
as well as for show and breeding.
ALL our llamas are halter broken. We began our breeding program
in 1996, and now have 25 beautiful animals.
Our goal was to produce the best llamas
possible, regardless of country of origin. We want our llamas
to be conformationally correct, with presence that catches your
eye. A llama with a disposition that is easy to work with is
very important. Great wool texture and wool quantity pleases
us.
We are happy to say that our attention
to breeding traits has shown excellent results. Our original
herdsire, Resero, won Nationals in Columbia, Missouri. Resero
also tok Reserve Champion in 2-Year-Old Males at Nationals in
Lincoln, Nebraska, in 1999. Resero was recently sold to Wayne
Rankin of Golden Heart Ranch in Nevada.
Resero's Legacy MVLPS, son of Resero,
took First Place in this class at the National Western Stock
Show in Denver in January 2001. He took 1st in the two-year-old
class at Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2001. Resero's
Legacy is now available for sale, along with the rest of
our herd.
We invite you to visit us. Grand Lake
is a beautiful resort area with three distinct alpine lakes.
We have newer cabins with views of the magnificent surrounding
Colorado landscape for you to stay in, and one night is on us.
Enjoy your visit through
our website.
